The look in that poor bird’s eye.
The photographer did a great service by capturing the plight of birds caught in this mess, but would it have hurt to get help for the suffering creature first? Did the photographer try to save the bird after taking its pictures?
I am nauseous looking at this footage, but it pales PALES PALES in comparison to what these creatures and human beings, our fellow Americans, are going through down on the coast. It makes me wonder what the hell is I am doing with my life.
That picture keeps haunting. Its the one picture that got me the most upset of all.
